How to use the Transaction Manager?

At the L1 dashboard, select Precompiles -> Transaction manager on the toolbar.

Disabled State

By default, Transaction Manager is disabled during the setup step.

When Transaction Manager is enabled, only those listed addresses are allowed to post transactions to this L1 chain, putting another way, none of other addresses can post transactions to this L1 chain.

It is strongly recommended to think through before enabling this precompile.

Enabled State

The screenshot below shows enabled state for some buttons, because the Transaction Manager is enabled on this L1 during the setup, and the connected wallet address is specified as an Admin of theTransaction Manager List.

If the connected wallet address is not in the list of Admin address, these buttons will be showed as disabled, as this wallet address cannot make any changes.

Once selecting Transaction Manager, this Admin user is able to…

  • View the list of all addresses that are allowed to submit transactions to the chain.
  • If and only if the connected wallet is an Admin of Transaction Manager, via Edit users to the far right, it can edit the address settings, or remove the address completely from the list by clicking the delete icon if enabled.
